I tell people all the time that no one is too young for a Disney vacation, and I mean it. Walt Disney World Resort offers activities for all ages, so it truly is fun for the whole family! If you’re looking for experiences that your little ones will love, here’s my list of Walt Disney World attractions perfect for any toddler!
Best Rides
Kids can enjoy the rides at Disney World at any age. Because I’m focusing on attractions great for ANY toddler, I had a few restrictions for this list: no height requirements and no significantly frightening moments. Here are the ones that make the cut!
Magic Kingdom
- Dumbo the Flying Elephant
- Under the Sea – Journey of the Little Mermaid
- Peter Pan’s Flight
- The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh
- “it’s a small world”
- Mad Tea Party
- Prince Charming Regal Carrousel
- Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin
- Jungle Cruise
- The Magic Carpets of Aladdin
Epcot

- Journey into Imagination with Figment
- The Seas with Nemo & Friends
Hollywood Studios
- Toy Story Mania
Animal Kingdom
- Kilimanjaro Safaris
- Triceratop Spin
Best Shows
Shows are part of the fun of a Disney vacation. The best part is that most of them are 30 minutes or less, which is perfect for those with shorter attention spans. Here are shows that your toddler will love!
Note: A few of these are technically "attractions" and not shows, but I'm including them here if they have more of a show or movie element.
Magic Kingdom
- Mickey's Royal Friendship Faire
- Enchanted Tales with Belle
- Mickey's Philharmagic
- Once Upon a Time
- Happily Ever After
Epcot

Best Activities
Sometimes kids need something a bit more interactive. Character meals are always fun because the kids can meet their Disney friends in person, and you don't need to wait in line to meet them separately. Check out these other fun ideas:
Magic Kingdom
- Harmony Barber Shop
Epcot
- Kidcot Fun Stops
Animal Kingdom
- Wilderness Explorers
Best Play Areas
Finally, we all know that toddlers need plenty of time to burn off energy. Thankfully, Disney has thought of everything. In several of the parks you'll find themed play areas for the little ones to explore. If you're staying at a Walt Disney World Resort hotel, you'll also have access to regular playgrounds and pool!
Magic Kingdom
- Casey Jr. Splash 'n' Soak Station
- Dumbo the Flying Elephant Queue Area
- Tom Sawyer Island
Epcot
- ImageWorks
