Here is some basic info on special Disney discounts available to military families:
Walt Disney World and Disneyland Tickets
The best deal out there for military families are the Armed Forces Salute tickets. These offer a huge discount off gate prices and can be purchased from your local base/ITT office or ordered from Shades of Green in advance of your trip. You may also purchase them at the gates (note that you will pay tax on them at Walt Disney World).
Each eligible service member is limited to 6 Armed Forces Salute tickets per year. Additional military ticket options are available at a lesser discount. Contact me at jtullino@themouseexperts.com to learn more.

- 5-Day Park Hopper Tickets: $257/person + tax

- 4-Day Park Hopper Plus Tickets: $291/person + tax
Military families may also purchase Memory Maker at a discounted price of $98 plus tax at the parks.

- 6-Day Park Hopper Tickets: $301/person + tax
- 6-Day Park Hopper Plus Tickets: $351/person + tax
- 5-Day Park Hopper Tickets: $283/person + tax
- 5-Day Park Hopper Plus Tickets: $333/person + tax
- 4-Day Park Hopper Tickets: $265/person + tax
- 4-Day Park Hopper Plus Tickets: $315/person + tax

- 3-Day Park Hopper Tickets: $178/person

Disney Resort Hotels
Military families can save up to 40% at Disney Resort Hotels in Walt Disney World Resort and in Disneyland Resort. These are often the best deals available for these resorts and you still get all of the incredible Disney benefits. They can be booked as rooms alone or as packages with the Disney Dining Plan (at Walt Disney World).
For 2019, the military discounts are valid for the following dates:
- Walt Disney World Resort: January 1 – April 13, 2019 and April 26 – December 19, 2019.
- Disneyland Resort: January 1 – December 19, 2019
For 2020, the military discounts are valid for the following dates:
- Walt Disney World Resort: January 1 – April 4, 2020 and April 19 – December 18, 2020.
- Disneyland Resort: January 1 – December 17, 2020
Note that certain exclusions and eligibility requirements apply, and discounted rooms at each resort are limited. The best way to secure a great rate is to book early!
